The Coach Trip - or "Scum on a bus" as it's affectionately known - is a travel-meets-reality show where a coach load of Brits set off on a six- week trip around Europe. It's basically "Big Brother" on a bus, with the couples attempting to outstay their welcome for a small cash prize, guided by the trusty (and very camp) Brendan.
The original series became a cult classic, largely due to the ignorance and blatant xenophobia of the passengers. Any opportunity for a social gaff was devoured by the participants, with the popularity vote at the end of every program ensuring plenty of prejudice, bickering and back-biting. At 22 minutes per episode, it's a perfect way of making you feel better about yourself. Highly recommended.
